About the client
Sesa is an Ayurvedic hair care brand, launched by Ban Labs Private Limited in 1995. It is India’s second highest-selling hair oil brand in the anti-hair fall category. Sesa identified Ayurvedic Hair Oils as an attractive segment in hair care; True North acquired Sesa from Ban Labs in 2018, creating Sesa Care. This segment is benefited by the globally observed trends of shifting towards natural products. Sesa is based at Mumbai, and Manufacturing Plant located at Sirmaur Himachal Pradesh.
Challenges
- Sesa is a manufacturing company of Hair Care products, so there is a challenge of maintaining Schemes and Discounts on products; they have a different type of schemes and prices for each product.
- Also, it is a manufacturing company so Quality Check is must for each product.
- The ERP solution needs to support Price and Scheme for SKUs as well as Quality Control, along with standard business processes and financial integration.
- The solution needs to be user friendly and flexible to capture all the information. The solution has to be accessible at any place, any time.

Process
We understood the client requirements with comprehensive business process discussions. We mapped SAP B1 available features and wrapped them in a completely customized solution for this requirement.
Solutions
- A total customized solution has been developed which includes Price Distribution Management Add-on and Quality Control Add-on.
- Using the Price Distribution Management system will control the Schemes, Price and MRP for predefine Business Groups at time of Sales order and dispatching the goods.
- Discounts, Price and Scheme are maintained using customization forms.
- Quality Control is Maintain using Separate Customization Add-On, there is a specific parameter defined for each SKU to control quality.
- Quality control is being checked after Goods Receipt in System for each batch (For Raw and packing Material), it is also checked after the production entry for Finished Goods.
- For each Quality check there is system control for approval, rejected or partially rejected or partially approved and for each system has a label with necessary data.
- The system has predefined reports and COA. (Certificate of Analysis)

- Price management for Each SKU and Scheme for Different type of Customers. (Distributors, Super Stokers)
- Easy to maintain Schemes and discount for Each group with respect to SKUs.
- Quality Control at Each Stage, with its status and reports.
