Challenges

  • Rivaara Labs were finding it difficult to manage their day-to-day business on their existing software as their business was growing rapidly pan India.
  • Tracing of transactions at the group level/company level was not managed well.
  • No integration with Laboratory Testing and Information Management System.

Process

We first set out by having detailed discussions to understand the requirements and in-depth working of the clients’ existing ERP system, LIMS, to ensure that our solution would be compatible with the integrations.

Solutions

The integration with the system named LIMS where any entry, namely bill booking in LIMS, would automatically help us create the sales order in the SAP B1 system. Based on the sales order completed, the system will identify the real-time stock for consumption document, i.e., delivery to be made automatically. The stock consumption would be based on the bill of material defined in the system for the item code reflected in the auto-created sales order. The synchronous flow of data from one system to another system was also managed.

Timeline

The timeline to implement the entire project was around 3 – 4 months.

Result

The migration of master data, particularly item, customer, and vendor with respective inventory balances and ledger balances from the existing software being used was with it for future transactions and references in synchronization.
